Faisal Halim shows up to support Selangor FC

PETALING JAYA, June 15 — Selangor FC and Harimau Malaya winger Mohamad Faisal Abdul Halim turned up to watch the 2024/2025 FA Cup first-round match between the Red Giants and Negeri Sembilan FC at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium here today.

Faisal was at the stadium with his family, including his wife and son, much to the delight of Selangor fans at the venue.

Faisal, nicknamed Mickey by fans, smiled and waved at the cheering Selangor fans.

On Thursday, the 26-year-old made his first public appearance at a special media conference at the Selangor FC Training Centre, Shah Alam, since being attacked with acid by an unknown assailant at a shopping mall in Petaling Jaya in May.

Following the May 5 incident, Faisal, winner of the best goal award at the 2023 Asian Cup in Qatar in January, suffered fourth-degree burns on several parts of his body and was in intensive care for about 10 days.
