SHAH ALAM, AUG 4: The Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Department (JPSPPA) in Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) has confiscated illegal Roll On Roll Off (Roro) bins, which it considers as illegal waste dumping and a disruption of walkways in the area.
Corporate Communications Head Shahrin Ahmad said the action was taken to ensure the level of cleanliness and cheeriness in the city is always at its best.
He said the action was taken under the 2007 (MBSA) rubbish collection, removal and disposal by-law.
“Everyone is reminded to use MBSA Roro bins for any renovation work.
“This is important to control unauthorised waste dumping activities,” he said in a statement.
