International Union of Muslim Scholars calls for concern regarding Aleppo

SHAH ALAM, SEP 28: Muslims across the world are urged to express their concern, this Friday, for the fate of their Muslims brothers and sisters in Aleppo, Syria.
The International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) Secretary General Sheikh Ali Al-Qurrah Daghi said the “Friday of Anger” for Aleppo, Syria is their effort to prevent the city’s destruction from attacks by Syrian regimes and its allies.
“We pray that Allah SWT is with the Syrians and accord them with victory. The world is also responsible in helping them in this effort,” he said as quoted by a Turkish news agency, Anadolu.
He called on Muslim preachers to dedicate this coming Friday’s sermon to show solidarity with war-battered Aleppo and its citizens who are facing mass killings.
Sheikh Ali Al Qurrah said that Islamic scholars should lead to end the injustice and tyranny in Syria, and also in other grieving and war-torn countries.
Since the war in March 2011, it is estimated that over 300,000 people have been killed.
