Civil servants receive two months’ salary financial aid

SHAH ALAM, OCT 31: Civil servants throughout the state will enjoy two months’ salary financial aid totalling RM57.25 million.
Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said the gift is to recognise the civil servants’ contributions and success in aiding the economic growth of the state.
“As a token of gratitude, the State Government agreed to provide a financial aid in the form of two months’ salary. The payment of one and a half months was made on July 1, 2016.
“To complete the special financial aid, the half month salary will be paid on December 20, 2016 to help civil servants prepare for their children’s schooling needs.
“The payment of the two months’ salary special financial aid will cost the State Government RM57.25 million,” he said while tabling the 2017 Selangor Budget at the Selangor State Legislative Assembly on October 31.
