KLANG, OCT 22: The attendance of Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali at the Deepavali Cultural Night Carnival 2016 in Klang added to the the joyous atmosphere of the festival.
Dato’ Menteri Besar was greeted by Poverty, Caring Government and Plantation Workers’ Exco V Ganabatirau and Klang Muncipal Council Yang Dipertua Dato’ Mohamad Yasid Bidin.
The public, especially those from the Indian society, did not miss the opportunity to greet and take photos with him when he mingled with them in the area known as Little India in the state.
Also present were State Assembly Speaker Hannah Yeoh, State Excos Elizabeth Wong and Dr Daroyah Alwi; Members of Parliament, Charles Santiago, R Sivarasa and G Manivanan.
The event is an annual state affair in conjunction with Deepavali celebrations.
Various entertainment performances, including dances and singing, were presented throughout the evening.
