Couple who harassed MBSA enforcer charged today

SHAH ALAM, NOV 25: Two individuals who harassed a Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) lady enforcer were arrested and charged at the Shah Alam Court this morning.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the couple will be investigated for obstructing a civil servant from performing her duty as well as sexual harassment.
She also confirmed that the couple was arrested yesterday and charged today under Secton 353 of the Penal Code for using criminal force to stop a civil servant from performing her duties.
The incident happened that near Restoran Selera Kampung Subang, Sungai Buloh started when the enforcer issued a summons on a car that did not have a parking coupon.
The owner of the car was dissatisfied because she claimed that she already had displayed a parking coupon and an argument ensued.
A woman believed to be the owner of the car then confronted the victim and rudely claimed that she already had a coupon.
The victim informed her that she could not revoke the summons that had been issued and this infuriated the suspect who then called a male friend.
The man was recorded to have shouted at the victim besides threatening to hurt her.
The woman suspect then kept on pulling at the back of the victim’s shirt as the victim tried to get away and the male suspect used his body to hem her in while trying to get a photo of the victim using his mobile phone.
