Selangor free bus envied by citizens in other states

SHAH ALAM, SEP 7: The Inisiatif Peduli Rakyat (IPR) by the State Government not only has benefitted people in Selangor, in fact it has benefitted citizens of other states who live here.
For example, the Smart Selangor Bus services, which is the envy of residents in other states who have eventually compared the facility with what they are provided with in their states.

A user, Giman Saliman described the service as largely beneficial to permanent residents as well as ‘visitors’ who are seeking for livelihood in the state.
“Selangor the best. Although I am not a Selangorian..thank god I can also enjoy the benefit like a citizen in someone else’s state..congratulations and you are the best, Selangor Government,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
Besides that, Fauzin Mustafa also expressed gratitude to the State Government and described the programme as helping her to save from her cost going to work.
“Alhamdulillah…thank you! Besides saving my cost, it also helps to reduce congestion to give way to those who drive themselves to work. Another term, InsyaAllah,” he said.
“Perak Minister, why don’t you do the same thing here…for peoples’ convenience,” wrote Hafiz Hussain.
Yazid Mohd Deni also proposed other states, particularly those which are ruled by Barisan Nasional to emulate Selangor Government on this initiative.
“It will be good for other federal states to emulate Selangor Government…professional governance,” he said.
BAS SMART SELANGOR
The Kota Anggerik Assemblyman, Dr Yaakob Sapari had earlier shared his experience riding the Smart Selangor bus to work on his facebook page.
His update attracted netizens’ attention and prompted them to share their views as reported above.
“Today I went to office taking the Smart Selangor bus. I found the bus to be punctual, clean and equipped with wifi.
“Many university students and schoolchildren are taking this free bus. Most economical. Parents don’t have to bear the cost of school buses or vans anymore,” he said.
