Death toll in Indonesia stands at 469

JAKARTA, April 15 — The number of fatalities from Covid-19 in Indonesia has now risen to 469 people.

The Indonesian government’s spokesman on Covid-19, Achmad Yurianto said there were 10 deaths from the disease in the last 24 hours.

“From 12 noon yesterday to 12 noon today, the number of positive cases increased by 297, bringing the total now to 5,136 cases,” he said.

The Province of Jakarta recorded the highest fatalities with 242 cases, followed by West Java (52 cases), East Java (45) and the remaining cases in other provinces.
