Two townships in Hulu Selangor now a green zone

SHAH ALAM, June 12 — Kerling and Serendah in Hulu Selangor are now classified as a green zone after the two townships have recorded zero active Covid-19 cases.

According to the Selangor Task Force for Covid-19 (STFC), the number of active cases in Hulu Selangor has dropped to two yesterday from the seven registered cases on Wednesday.

“The people of Selangor has to continue being disciplined in practising the new normal.

“Compound would be issued to those who are found to have not complied with the standard operating procedure (SOP) during the recovery movement control order (RMCO) period,” the task force said in a statement on Facebook last night.

Selangor had yesterday registered three new coronavirus cases, pushing the total figure in the state to 1,974.

A total of 199 active cases are recorded, and the death toll remains at 23.
