MBSJ installs sheet pile to stabilise landslide in Taman Kinrara 4

SHAH ALAM, March 9 — The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) has ordered its Engineering Department to conduct maintenance works at the landslide area near Pangsapuri Suria at Taman Kinrara 4 in Puchong.

The instruction was made following a visit from MBSJ mayor Datuk Johary Anuar, deputy mayor Mohd Zulkurnain Che Ali and Kinrara state assemblyman Ng Sze Han to the area yesterday.

The city council in a statement on Facebook said the investigations had found that the incident was caused by the increase of water level in the main ditch due to heavy rains.

“Heavy downpours had pushed the wall to the main ditch reserve area.

“Following the incident, MBSJ Engineering Department had been instructed to install sheet piles with the length of 50-metres immediately to stabilise the land movement,” it said.
