Jualan Prihatin Rakyat to be held in four locations this weekend

SHAH ALAM, April 22 — The Jualan Prihatin Rakyat programme which offers daily necessities at a cheaper price will be continued in four constituencies this weekend.

The Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS) said the programme on Saturday will be held in front of Kedai PLB Parit 1, Sungai Sireh in Tanjong Karang and at the Permatang constituency service centre from 10am until 1pm.

Meanwhile on Sunday, the programme will run at the same time at Kedai Anggerik Maju, Kampung Tanjung Siam in Kuala Selangor as well as at the parking lots next to Masjid Kota Raja in Klang.

“To all residents nearby the area, do not miss the opportunity to save more,” said PKPS on Facebook.

The programme, which offers goods and produce at affordable prices, is conducted every weekend to cover 64 areas throughout the state.

A total of 10,000 chickens, 3,100 kilogrammes (kg) fresh meat, 6,200 kg mackerel fish and 315,000 grade B eggs have been sold throughout the programme.

The programme offers chicken prices at RM12 each, fresh meat at RM35 per kilogramme, grade B eggs at RM10 per tray and mackerel fish at RM8 per pack.
