Selangor civil servants to receive one-month salary special payout

SHAH ALAM, April 8 — Civil servants in Selangor will receive a special payout in the form of the Bantuan Khas Kewangan or Special Financial Aid (BKK) of one months’ salary as a show of appreciation towards the continuos commitment shown by the state public servants.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the special payout with a total of RM39.15 million in allocation would be disbursed on April 27, before the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

“As a show of appreciation towards the commitment of the state civil servants, the state government has agreed on the Rahmah Ramadan Selangor incentive of one-month salary or a minimum of RM1,000 to all members of the state government civil service, including those whose salaries are paid by the Federal government, with an estimated financial implication of RM39.15 million.

“The state administration has also agreed on the RM1,000 incentive for community heads, including Village Community Management Council (MPKK) chairman, new village liaison officer, Indian community leader, MPKK secretary and the Wanita Berdaya Selangor (WBS) supervisor,” he said.

The announcement was made during the Rapat Rahmah Ramadan event held at the Dewan Jubli Perak here, today.

Amirudin said a RM500 incentive would also be disbursed to Selangor youth activists and mosque officials such as nazir, imam, siak and bilal for their dedication to uplifting the mosque institution during Ramadan.

He said the incentives allocated for the community heads and mosque officials, with a total of RM1.5 million, are funded by the Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI.
