“All the aforementioned areas will experience heavy rains, strong winds and thunderstorms until 7pm tonight,” said the agency.

Elsewhere inclement weather is also predicted until 8pm for Sarawak including Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman (Sri Aman), Sarikei (Sarikei and Meradong), Sibu, Mukah, Bintulu (Tatau), Miri (Beluru, Telang Usan, Miri and Marudi) and Limbang.

In Sabah the affected areas include Pedalaman (Sipitang, Tenom, Beaufort and Tambunan), Pantai Barat, Tawau (Kunak and Lahad Datu), Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran and Sandakan) and Kudat (Kota Marudu and Kudat).
