Unifi offers 30-day free trial for eCommerce Hub to help MSMEs

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 15 — Unifi Business is offering micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) a 30-day free trial for its eCommerce Hub solution which can help them to increase productivity and expand their business.

Unifi MSME segment head Mohamad Yusman Ammeran said this is an effort to assist in the development of the country’s MSME segment amid the current challenges faced by the entrepreneurs, including market access, limited finances, expertise and digital technology utilisation.

This is an initiative under Unifi Business Club (UBC) which is a one-stop centre to enable MSME entrepreneurs to get access to information and knowledge in business management, covering microfinance and digital marketing, as well as webinars and related programmes.

“MSME entrepreneurs can track their business on Shopee and Lazada through eCommerce Hub. They can interact (with customers), manage their business and promote their products through this platform.

“For a free trial, they need to visit Unifi’s official website at ubc.unifi.com.my (the Unifi Business section). Click on the eCommerce Hub link and details will be emailed to them. The offer is open to all, not just limited to unifi subscribers,” he said on Bernama TV’s Internet dan Anda programme.

Mohamad Yusman said Unifir will also have free programmes for MSME entrepreneurs from this month to December. The one-day programmes will focus on three main aspects for becoming successful entrepreneurs — mindset, skill set and tools.

“The first programme will be held on September 21 at Bangi Gateway. We will invite successful MSME entrepreneurs for sharing sessions and classes using digital solutions and technological equipment.

“The programmes will be held at 12 locations nationwide,” he said.

He also noted that a lot of job opportunities are created in the MSME sector which employs an estimated seven million individuals. Nearly 400,000 MSMEs are Unifi Business subscribers.
