KLANG, Oct 24 — Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) election machinery has been reminded to immediately start work to ensure the people go out and vote in the upcoming 15th general election (GE15).

Selangor PH chairman Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the success of ensuring voters carry out this responsibility is an important key to the party’s success.

“Despite facing several unsuccessful state election, I believe there is still a great chance to win in the GE15.

“The strength of the election machinery is important despite facing several challenges. The machinery needs to gather voters and be the driving force to bring them out to vote,” he said.

Amirudin was speaking at the launch of the Kapar, Klang and Kota Raja PH Election Machinery as well as the Polling Station Agents briefing session, at Dewan Serbaguna Taman Sentosa yesterday (October 23).

He also reminded the machinery to not discuss and dispute candidate issues after the announcement is made later.

“Leaders take a long time to get a list of those interested, as well as proposals of candidates from states and branches, before the PH president makes a decision.

“If we do not make a decision and continue discussing, we will end up missing the nominations. We want to avoid that, so we move on and strengthen our machinery,” Amirudin said.
