Rahmah Sales have benefited two million Malaysians — KPDN

KOTA BHARU, July 28 — The Rahmah Sales programme has benefited nearly two million people since its implementation in January, Deputy Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Fuziah Salleh said.

A sales value of RM51.2 million was recorded from 1,133 sales programmes since January, with various types of goods sold at a 30 per cent discount.

“Also, 331 Rahmah Mobile Sales with the concept of ‘Kedai Cari Rakyat’ were conducted nationwide, offering items at discounts from 10 to 30 per cent,” she told reporters after officiating the Rahmah Sales programme at Taman Desa Darul Naim area in Pasir Tumboh today.

Fuziah said she is proud to have worked with strategic partners to provide the discounts.

“Both sides, especially customers and the industry players, are in a win-win situation as customers enjoy discounts on products while industry players increase their sales,” she said.
