KLANG, 20 Aug — The remains of Pelangai state sssemblyman, the late Datuk Seri Johari Harun, who died in the plane crash at Elmina, Shah Alam U16 Section, will be buried at the Raudhatul Sakinah Islamic Cemetery, Taman Selasih, Batu Caves today.
A post on the deceased’s official Facebook page stated that the body is expected to be moved from the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang at about 9am.
“The remains will be de sent to the Jamek Ar-Rahimiah Mosque in Klang for first rites.
“The body is then expected to be sent to the Saidina Hamzah Mosque, Jalan Batu Muda, Kuala Lumpur for last rites at approximately 11am before burial at the Raudhatul Sakinah Islamic Cemetery, Taman Selasih Batu Caves at 12pm,” he said in a statement, Sinar Harian reported.
The family of the deceased expressed their gratitude and appreciation for all the prayers on behalf of the deceased.
Yesterday the wife of the deceased, Datin Seri Maziah Samsudin arrived at the hospital 11am
to identify the remains.
On Saturday, Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan informed that the bodies of the nine victims involved in the crash could be claimed at about 9am at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital Forensic Department.
“All matters relating to the matching of DNA samples have been resolved.
“All of the bodies have been identified,” he said at a press conference at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital Forensic Department compound.
In the incident last Thursday, 10 victims were confirmed to have died in the crash of the private jet.
The victims consisted of eight passengers and the plane’s crew, in addition to two civilians, a motorcyclist and a car driver who happened to be at the crash site.
