Takaful Ikhlas launches ikhlas secure travel insurance plan

KUALA LUMPUR, 5 Oct — Takaful Ikhlas General Bhd (Takaful IKHLAS),  a wholly-owned subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Bhd has launched the Ikhlas Secure Travel Takaful, a Takaful travel insurance plan.

The plan was launched by Penang Yang di-Pertua Negeri, Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak at Permodalan Nasional Bhd’s Malaysian Unit Trust Week (MSAM) 2023 in Bertam, Penang.

Takaful IKHLAS president and chief executive officer, Datuk Rudy Rodzila Che Lamin said the insurance plan will enable holidaymakers to enjoy worry-free travels to local and international destinations with its comprehensive range of benefits.

The plan includes protection against holiday cancellation or disruption, loss of baggage, medical emergencies, coverage for Hajj by proxy (badal Haji) and 24-hour travel and health assistance as well as air ambulance services.

Those who enjoy extreme activities can also get more protection through additional contributions.

In order to offer the travel insurance plan, Takaful Ikhlas has established cooperative relationships with travel and medical networks around the world to ensure that customers are always protected no matter where they are.

The insurance provider also offers coverage for services by leading medical networks in Mecca and Medina to Hajj and Umrah pilgrims who subscribe to the plan.

Rudy Rodzila hopes that Malaysians will be more aware of the importance of Takaful protection when planning their vacation, and not to underestimate any risks while on vacation.

Ikhlas Secure Travel Takaful can be easily subscribed online via the official Takaful Ikhlas website, as well as through Takaful Ikhlas consultants and branches nationwide.
