KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 29 — The registration and claim for eMADANI, the one-off e-wallet credit of RM100, will open from Monday, December 4 to February 20 next year, according to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Anwar, also the Finance Minister, said the initiative will benefit 10 million eligible adult Malaysians, involving a RM1 billion allocation.
He was speaking during the tabling of the Supply Bill 2024 for the second reading at the Dewan Negara today.
The RM100 e-wallet credit, which is offered to all Malaysians aged 21 and above within the B40 and M40 groups, was announced by Anwar during the launch of the Madani Economy: Empowering the People framework on July 27.
