KLANG, Nov 29 — The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, officiated the Acacia By Pacific Senior Living senior care residence today.

His Royal Highness, accompanied by Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin and Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, also visited its facilities and rooms.

Columbia Pacific Management managing director Nate McLemore said Acacia is their first care residence, providing a conducive living environment for the elderly.

It offers 136 rooms priced between RM8,500 and RM12,000 per month and is designed with features, including anti-fall measures for customer safety.

“Acacia adopts a senior-friendly lifestyle concept and presents a resort-like atmosphere. Various amenities include a swimming pool, jacuzzi, entertainment rooms, physiotherapy services, and hobby workshops.

“Health services include pre-medical assessments, scheduled examinations by professionals, prescribed medications, and recommended dietary supplements,” he said.

McLemore added that similar residences will be developed in other areas in the future to ensure the elderly receive the best care.
