RM10,000 prize for grabs in MBPJ bus stop design contest

SHAH ALAM, Dec 1 — The Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) is organising a competition to design a smart bus stop with a RM10,000 cash prize.

In a Facebook post, it said the competition is open to all Malaysians, whether individuals or organisations.

The design should have its own concept based on bus stops’ existing components, supported by explanatory text, cost estimates, and smart elements.

It should also be original, eco-friendly, inclusive for persons with disabilities, reflect Petaling Jaya’s identity, and have no sensitive elements touching on religious, racial, and political aspects.

Supporting documents can be submitted via email to [email protected] before the deadline, before 5pm on January 31, 2024.

Members of the public can obtain further details by scanning the QR code on the poster or contacting the hotline at 03-7956 3544 extension 351 (Muhammad Sazrul).
