SHAH ALAM, Jan 30 — Yayasan Hijrah Selangor plans to organise 20 training programmes to help entrepreneurs strengthen their businesses this year.

Its chief executive officer Datuk Mearia Hamzah said 1,000 entrepreneurs are expected to participate in the Training Strategy to Win 2024 (Latihan Strategi Untuk Menang 2024) with a RM300,000 allocation.

“Hijrah will collaborate with the Credit Counselling and Management Agency (AKPK), which focuses on training in credit management, marketing, and business promotion.

“The first programme starts today, aiming to train entrepreneurs in planning their businesses correctly to generate real profits,” she said.

Mearia was speaking at the event, officiated by state executive councillor for entrepreneurship Najwan Halimi, at the Shah Alam Convention Center (IDCC) yesterday.

She added that 75 entrepreneurs participated in the programme, at a RM20,000 cost.

“In this session, participants were made to understand of the importance of their strengths and teams in determining the business strategies to be used.

“The training also focuses on how entrepreneurs can generate sales through business collaborations so they can repay the loans, which are their responsibilities to settle,” Mearia said.
