Aidilfitri: Expanded Jualan Ehsan Rahmah to be held in five constituencies

SHAH ALAM, April 3 — The state has identified five locations to organise the Jualan Ehsan Rahmah (JER) affordable sales programme in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration. 

Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS) chief executive officer Mohamad Khairil Mohamad Razi said namely, the programme this weekend will be held in the constituencies of Pandan Indah, Sabak, Sungai Tua, Tanjong Sepat and Kuala Kubu Bharu. 

He added that the initiative will also be expanded by increasing the amount of each essential item being sold. 

Among other things, Khairil said a total of 1,500 whole chickens will be made available at each location. 

“In addition, we will also bring 500 packs of fish and meat, 600 trays of eggs, 600 bags of rice and 144 bottles of cooking oil,” he said. 

“Apart from these six essential items, we will also be offering various other dry food to help the public prepare for Aidilfitri.” 

According to Khairil, chickens, meats and eggs will be offered at RM10 each, while fish will be sold at RM6 per pack, 5kg rice at RM13, and 5kg cooking oil at RM25. 

Following are the dates and locations for the Aidilfitri JER programme: 

April 6 (Saturday)

  1. Pandan Indah: Dataran Masjid Nurul Hidayah, Kampung Pandan Dalam
  2. Sabak: Stesen Bas Pekan Sabak

April 7 (Sunday)

  1. Sungai Tua: Gua Damai Extreme Park, Kampung Melayu Wira Damai, Batu Caves
  2. Tanjong Sepat: Dataran Pantai Batu Laut
  3. Kuala Kubu Bharu: Jalan Ara 5 JRD Batang Kali
