PKPS targets to release 50 Ehsan brand products by year-end

HULU SELANGOR, May 5 — The Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS) hopes to introduce about 50 Ehsan brand products by the end of this year.

Its senior marketing manager Md Fazir Abdul Latif said that so far, there are 30 stock-keeping units (SKUs), including basic items such as wheat flour, cordial, rice vermicelli, tomato sauce, oyster sauce, pandan jam, honey jam, sardines, and chilli paste.

“We will add more from time to time. The (Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, or KPDN) Minister has also instructed (to add SKUs) to meet the needs of the people.

“We expect at least 50 SKUs by the end of this year,” he said when met at the Selangor KPDN and PKPS Consumer Carnival, here yesterday.

Also present was KPDN Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali.

Previously, PKPS invited entrepreneurs and traders in Selangor to join them as distributors of its Ehsan brand goods.

Applications are open to private traders and registered cooperatives in Selangor.
