Blogger suggests method to challenge EC’s re-delineation exercise

SHAH ALAM, 20 Sep: Haris Ibrahim, a blogger who runs a blog entitled The People’s Parliament, has come out with a suggestion on how to challenge the upcoming re-delineation exercise mooted by the Election Commission (EC) recently.
In his blog post entitled “Anak bangsa Malaysia, rise & take ownership of your constituencies”, he touches on a Malaysiakini report regarding the EC’s plan and the resistance it has garnered.
He focuses on the efforts of Serdang MP Ong Kian Ming and two assemblymen from his constituency, who are kicking off a campaign in his constituency to challenge the proposed re-delineation there.
Their plan is get 100 registered voters from within their respective constituencies to step forward and register as objectors with regard to the proposed changes by EC in their respective constituencies.
Haris argues that this effort will work and has urged concerned registered voters to register as objectors against the re-delineation exercise.
His blog post details step-by-step information on how to do so and also the two simple options available to get it done quickly.
