Sign up as a voter before March 31 if the GE-14 in September

PETALING JAYA, FEB 21: Citizens aged 21 years and above are required to register as a voter before March 31, 2017 if you want to vote if the 14th General Election (GE-14) fell in September.
Deputy Chairman of BERSIH 2.0, Shahrul Aman Mohd Saari said, it following the process typically takes six months for any new applicants.
“Only those who register before March 31, 2017 may vote in the 14th General Election if it were held in September 2017.
“Therefore it is important for those who have not signed up to register as soon as possible at the nearest post office,” said Shahrul at a press conference at the BERSIH 2.0 Office in Eight Avenue, here, today.

He also urged voters who already sign up to bring family members and friends who have not signed up to the Post Office to register as voters.
He stated, voting in elections is the most powerful right of citizens in a democratic system.
In addition, it is also the most direct approach to bring change to ensure the voice of the people is not ignored.
Earlier, Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato ‘Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali told the media, based on the information received, he expects GE-14 will be held in September.
