SHAH ALAM, April 15 — A total of 51,870 school students have signed up for the Selangor free e-learning programme, says the Selangor Education Foundation.
Its senior director Zahura Zakry said a high number of Year Six students, who will be sitting for the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) examination this year, makes up 32.38 per cent of the total enrollment.
“Some 22.71 per cent Form Three students and 15.55 per cent Form Five students, who are also Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) candidates, have registered under the programme,” she told SelangorKini when contacted today.
Zahura said the foundation had targetted a total of 100,000 students in to enrol in the programme during the third phase of the movement control order (MCO) period, which begins today until April 28.
The e-learning platform, which is available through the website selangortutor.com, is an initiative under the second phase of the Selangor economic stimulus package, Selangor Cares 2.0.
A total of 130,000 online worksheets, in line with the Education Ministry curriculum, are available on the platform.
