MCO: WAO urges domestic violence victims to seek help

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 19 — Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO) has urged those who become victims of domestic violence during the implementation of the movement control order to seek help from relevant bodies.

In a statement today, WAO said the victims have the options to find protection and support, lodge police report, obtain protection order and seek medical treatments.

“If trapped, you can call the police directly at 999,” the statement said.
