By Norrasyidah Arshad

GOMBAK, Jan 24 — Selangor constituency service centres and coordinators are prepared to assist students who are in need of electronic devices to undergo the home-based teaching and learning (PdPR) programme.

Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said each of the state constituencies has been allocated funds to help its people following the reintroduction of the movement control order (MCO).

“In Gombak (constituency), there have been 100 applications submitted. Appeals for devices are in demand as it is important for the PdPR sessions,” said Amirudin when met after distributing food item at the Batu Caves community hall here today.

Following the closure of schools during the enforcement of the MCO since January 13, students are required to undergo the PdPR.

However, there have been some shortcomings to the online learning method such as poor internet connectivity and lack of devices per household.
