Verbal warning to 24 traders for SOP non-compliance — MPSp

SHAH ALAM, Feb 15 — The Sepang Municipal Council (MPSp) has issued verbal warnings to 24 traders for failure to adhere to the standard operating procedure (SOP) at the temporary trade site in Taman Mas, Puchong.

Its president Dato’ Abd Hamid Hussain said the action was taken during checks held by the local council’s enforcement department on Friday.

“Among the breach of SOP include not displaying the MySejahtera QR code and providing thermometer for body temperature checks,” he told SelangorKini.

He said two markets operating in Jalan Mas were also issued the same warning as there were no social distancing at the premise.

Abd Hamid said a total of 60 checks were carried out at workshops, sundry shops and petrol stations in Jalan Dagang Mas as well as Jalan Industri Mas.

“No action taken was towards the premises as they had complied with the SOP,” he added.
