MB congratulates Agong on birthday

SHAH ALAM, June 7 — Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari congratulated Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah in conjunction with His Majesty’s official birthday today.

“I pray to Allah that His Majesty be granted with a long life and continue to be blessed with great dignity, sovereignty and prosperity while sitting on the throne.

“Dirgahayu Tuanku. Congratulations on His Majesty official birthday. Sembah takzim from me as Selangor Menteri Besar of Selangor and from all the people of Selangor,” said Amirudin on his Facebook, today.

Previously, the government agreed to amend the official birthday date of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah from June 6 to June 8.

Chief Secretary to the Government, Datuk Seri Mohd Zuki Ali said the government also agreed that Al-Sultan Abdullah’s official birthday is to be celebrated on the first Monday in June every year starting from 2021.
