KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 — The Selangor Pavilion at the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) 2022 has received nearly 10,000 visitors during the first three days of event.

Selangor Public Library Corporation director Datin Paduka Mastura Muhamad said the programme held at the Kuala Lumpur World Trade Centre (WTCKL), here, gave the public a chance to get information on the state government’s initiative.

“Alhamdulillah (Praises be to God), since KLIBF started, the response had been overwhelming. We recorded over 2,900 people visiting our booth on the first day alone.

“When the visitors dropped by at our booth for the refreshments provided, the officers from various state agencies took the opportunity to approach them and give information on the services offered by the state government,” she said.

The Selangor Pavilion, which operates from 10am to 10pm, provides various information on the state government’s initiatives.

A total of 19 agencies are involved in the programme, including the Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI, Tourism Selangor, KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd (KDEBWM) and Yayasan Hijrah Selangor.
