Residents in 47 areas advised to store water for tomorrow’s Bukit Dengkil upgrade works

SHAH ALAM, June 20 — The improvement works on the water supply system at the Bukit Dengkil pond tomorrow is an effort to ensure the wellbeing of consumers in the future.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said the works are expected to take up to 24 hours, starting at 9am. Consumers in 47 affected areas have been advised to store sufficient amounts of water.

“The water supply is expected to be fully restored by 9am on June 22. Consumers have been advised to store enough water for household usage, and to ensure all water containers remained closed,” it said.

Air Selangor added the upgrading works has been met with approval from the National Water Services Commission (Span).
