SHAH ALAM, Nov 15 — Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari has today refuted the claims against the state government over an alleged unresolved land issue involving the Wataniah Regiment Camp 502 in Section 16, here.
The Menteri Besar said that there had not been any records of any applications made by the Department of the Director General Land and Mines (JKPTG) or submission of survey applications.
“There is no history of giving ownership of the land in question to any party. In terms of building maintenance, it is under the Defence Ministry,” said the Selangor Pakatan Harapan (Harapan) chairman on Twitter today.
Amirudin was responding to a remark made by Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate for the Shah Alam parliamentary seat Dr Afif Bahardin, claiming the camp’s dire circumstances were caused by the unresolved land issue.
Dr Afif brought up the issue on Twitter and claimed what he had seen when visiting the early voting process at the camp earlier this morning.
