High tide phenomenon expected to hit Klang this week

SHAH ALAM, Nov 21 — The Klang district is expected to experience a high tide phenomenon this week, beginning from November 22 until 27 that would potentially cause floods and break river bunds.

The Klang District Disaster Management Committee said the people within the area have to be wary and remain vigilant of the current situation.

“Always get the latest update on weather conditions and further action from the related government agencies.

“People of Klang could also report disaster incidents to the emergency contact as provided,” it said in a statement today.

The committee also informed that the Klang Disaster Operating Room will be open from November 22 until November 27.
