Form Three student in critical condition after jumping off third floor of school building

PUTRAJAYA, Jan 6 — A Form Three male student sustained serious injuries after allegedly jumping from the third floor of his school building in Sepang today.

Sepang district police chief ACP Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof said that the school authorities informed the police that the student was found lying down and bleeding from his head by teachers at the school at around 10am.

According to him, the 15-year-old victim, who is in critical condition and unconscious, was currently being treated at Putrajaya Hospital.

“Preliminary investigations revealed no criminal elements involved,” he said when contacted.

Wan Kamarul said witnesses claimed to have seen the student in the corridor of the third floor of the building before he jumped.

He added the police have learned the student had undergone several counselling sessions by the school for depression previously.
