PETALING JAYA, March 3 — The Pro Community 2.0 grant programme for the Bandar Utama state constituency will be continued in 2023, to empower projects carried out by its residents.

Its state assemblyman Jamaliah Jamaluddin said a total of RM10,000 has been allocated by her office for the programme this year.

“We will provide an allocation of up to RM10,000, with a total of RM150,000 under the allocation for state assemblymen. This year is the fourth year the grant is being carried out.

“We are offering the grants to all registered Residents’ Associations,” she said during a media dinner programme at Abah Seafood and Grill Restaurant yesterday.

Jamaliah added that some of the projects carried out by residents include the community garden programme, improving the safety system in residential areas, recycling programmes like food waste composting, and solar lights.
