State govt’s excellent performance draws voters in north Selangor

By Najamuddin Mohd Nor

SUNGAI BESAR, Aug 10 — The competent performance of the state government in managing the economy and safeguarding the people’s welfare has won the hearts of voters in Selangor’s northern districts.

Mohd Yahya Mat Sahri, fondly known as Pak Ya, said the population is satisfied with the state’s performance under Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, who has initiated various initiatives for the people in both urban and rural areas.

“The average resident acknowledges the northern region is rapidly developing, providing many benefits to the people in its area.

“The state’s efforts aim to ensure all levels of society can benefit from the progress made. Residents in the Pematang, Sungai Burong, Sekinchan, Sungai Panjang, and Sabak state constituencies will not be marginalised,” said Pakatan Harapan’s candidate for the Permatang seat in the ongoing Selangor State Election.

He added the voters he encountered have voiced dissatisfaction over the failure of Opposition MPs in Tanjong Karang, Sungai Besar, and Sabak Bernam to provide good services to the local community.

“For this reason, I call on the electorate to support candidates who are aligned with the Federal government, as this can help to facilitate development projects and basic amenities,” Pak Ya said.
