MB officiates Fit Malaysia Selangor to encourage healthy living

KUALA LANGAT, Sept 2 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari inaugurated the Fit Malaysia Selangor 2023 programme at Gamuda Cove Central Park this morning.

Its implementation involves several key activities, including a fun walk, a five-kilometre run, a trail ride, aerobic exercises, skipping rope challenges, and 14 fitness-related competitive activities.

An interactive exhibition focusing on fitness and health was also held.

In his opening speech, he said programmes like this can promote unity among the people and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

“Programs like this are essential in fostering a healthy and strong community.

“In this day and age of advanced technology and widespread gadget use, taking care of our health is crucial as our biological system still requires physical activity for a healthy life,” Amirudin said.
