Tengku Amir visits Kuala Langat orphans to present Aidilfitri donations

KUALA LANGAT, March 16 — Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah attended the Ihya Ramadan charity event for orphans at Masjid Nurul Iman in Batu 10, Telok Panglima Garang today.

His Royal Highness’s arrival was welcomed by Selangor Islamic Religious Council (Mais) chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof and Yayasan Islam Darul Ehsan (Yide) chairman Tan Sri Mazlan Mansor.

During the programme, His Highness presented RM87,900 in Hari Raya Aidilfitri donations from Yide to 586 orphans in the district.

Tengku Amir also served as a witness to the presentation of a RM600,000 mock cheque from Mais to Yide’s Orphan Fund.

The Raja Muda subsequently performed his Zuhur prayers after Ihya Ramadan, led by Ustaz Don Daniyal Don Biyajid.
