SUBANG JAYA, OCT 20: The Selangor International Expo (SIE) plays an important role in forging this country into a regional hub for trade, industry and innovation.
Dato’ Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said SIE also functions as an entrance to global markets in South East Asia (ASEAN).
He said there are five economic clusters outlined as the main focus in SIE, namely halal products and services, e-commerce, life sciences, transportation equipment and machinery.

Organised by INVEST Selangor Berhad (INVEST), SIE 2015 succeeded in bringing returns of RM50 million to Selangor.
In 2015, SIE received a total participation of 410 booths, with 167 booths being participants from abroad.
Entering its second year, SIE saw a 40% increase in number of booths, with a total of 565 booths this year.
