WHB Enviro Hunt 2016 encourages love for nature

SHAH ALAM, OCT 24: Kumpulan Worldwide Holdings Berhad (WHB) with the cooperation of its subsidiary, Worldwide Landfills Sdn Bhd organised WHB Enviro Hunt 2016 on October 22 to educate and increase awareness among the public regarding environmental issues.
WHB Corporate Communications Head Ami Nardin Ishak said the programme, which took place at Kepong Botanical Gardens, aims to increase cooperation between the federal and state governments in environmental management.
“The great response of over 200 participants, including senior management and Worldwide Holding employees, is encouraging.
“This event is WHB’s effort to support the Malaysian National Environmental Week,” he said in a statement.

Ami said that WHB took the initiative to invite parties involved in environmental management to participate in WHB Enviro Hunt 2.
“Activities will take 4 hours and involve a journey of 4 km. There will also be side activities like aerobics, cycling and quizzes about environmental management,” he added.
