Bursa Malaysia opened low at 1,774.92 points

KUALA LUMPUR SEPT 20: Bursa Malaysia opened low today following decreasing sentiment ahead of the results of the United States Federal Open Market Committee meeting late today.
At 9.21am, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) stood at 1,774.92, decrease 1.74 points from yesterday’s close, 1,776.66.
Earlier, the benchmark index opened 0.37 points higher to 1,777.03.
In the broad market, gainers outnumbered losses of 161 to 154 with 222 counters unchanged, 1,300 untraded and 23 others suspended.
Total number of shares was 237.13 million with a value of RM148.76 million.
