MBPJ demolished five illegal premises

PETALING JAYA, OCT 20: The Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) with the cooperation from Petaling Jaya District Police Headquarters had demolished five illegal premises yesterday.
According to MBPJ’s Facebook page, the operation was carried out near the Mentari Court, Sungai Way, from 7.30 until 10.30 in the same morning.
The Ops Roboh tore down five premises, where two were turned into food premises, one grocery store, one hair salon and one car-wash shop.
According to report by Harian Metro, the illegal premises were built on government and local individuals’ land however the workers were foreigners from Bangladesh and Pakistan.
The operation went on smoothly without any protest from the owners.
Also involved in the operation were Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas), Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Petaling District Land Office and Selangor Land and Mine Office.
