MPAJ Arces V2.0 system for easier contract tracking

SHAH ALAM, OCT 20: The Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) has introduced the Arces V.2.0 to help the local authority to track and review its contracts and agreements.
It Yang Dipertua, Abdul Hamid Hussein the system is introduced to facilitate the contract monitoring process for MPAJ’s administrative department.
“The advantage of having this system is that there will be no more data duplication when making a contract with consumers being more aware of the contract review process.
“With the variety of alert system such as SMS and email, an expiring contract can be tracked in time besides making it easier for contract termination or renewal process,” he said.
He was speaking to SelangorKini, at the 2017 Selangor Innovation Appreciation Ceremony, at Dewan Jubli Perak, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Building last October 12.
At the same time, he said the project has been recognized as one of the best technological development that will bring long-term benefit to the council.

Abdul Hamid also said the project’s effectiveness is also in line with the State Government’s Internet of Things (IOT) approach in management.
“It is also capable of realizing the State Government’s intention to make Selangor the leading smart state in the region,” he said.
Earlier, Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali called on all local authorities in the state to implement IOT-based technology to effectively manage peoples’ requirements and aspirations, by 2020.
He said the trend is showing that by then, 50 to 80 percent of the population would migrate and settle in the city.
Hence local authorities need to move forward and provide a more proactive and efficient IOT based services.
