SHAH ALAM, Oct 13 — Water supply to six areas in Klang and Shah Alam that were affected by unscheduled water cuts has been fully restored at 9am this morning, says Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor).

Its corporate communication chief Elina Baseri said supply to the affected users in Section 18, 19, 20, 23, 24 and 25, Shah Alam, was resumed earlier at 12.35 midnight today.

“Water supply has resumed to all affected areas and is expected to be fully restored by 9am today,” said Elina in a statement issued today.

The agency said the unscheduled water disruption was due to repair works on a burst pipe caused by a third party at Persiaran Jubli Perak in Section 24, Shah Alam.

In a statement yesterday, Air Selangor said the repair works were expected to complete at 9am today and restoration of water supply would fully resume at 3pm.

Users can get the latest updates on the status of water supply through all Air Selangor communication mediums including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and its website at www.airselangor.com.
