Mustapa tests positive for Covid-19

SHAH ALAM, Jan 10 — Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed has tested positive for Covid-19, said a statement from the office of the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Economy) today.

It said that the minister was found to be positive of Covid-19 after he underwent a Covid-19 screening test upon his arrival at Kota Bharu from Kuala Lumpur yesterday morning. 

“He was warded at Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II (HRPZ II), Kota Bharu, Kelantan at 10.30pm yesterday for monitoring and is in a stable condition.

“On January 1, 2021, Mustapa had undergone a Covid-19 screening test and the result came back negative,” it said.

The statement said Mustapa also apologised for any inconvenience caused from this and asked all parties to seek prayers from Allah swt for ease of dealings by all.
