SHAH ALAM, May 11 — The Rumah Selangorku Idaman project in Kajang is expected to be completed by the end of the year, says Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.
He said the 1,052 sq ft apartment will be equipped with furniture including two covered parking spaces.
“This house priced at RM250,000 is equipped with affordable financing scheme specifically for the people of Selangor,” he said in a video clip on Twitter.
The video shows Amirudin visiting the Rumah Idaman project site at Tropicana Kajang 2.
The Selangor government has approved the construction of 80,650 units of Rumah Selangorku Idaman dan Harapan through 41 projects scheduled to be completed within four years.
Of that number, more than 77,000 were offered to the public while the rest was given to the state government for the implementation of the Rent-to-Own Smart Scheme (2Stay).
