Hijrah Selangor helps 7,444 entrepreneurs with over RM80 mln financing

SHAH ALAM, Aug 5 —  A total of RM81.37 million worth of financing has been utilised by 7,444 Selangor entrepreneurs through Yayasan Hijrah Selangor (Hijrah Selangor) from March last year to July this year.

Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said through his Facebook that the financing assistance was channelled in the form of working capital to traders and a moratorium was also offered twice during the period to ease the burden of entrepreneurs.

“Various business initiatives have been offered in a series of economic stimulus packages as a sign of the state government’s seriousness in addressing the economic impact of Covid-19,” he said.

He said traders who wanted help could contact officers at 20 Hijrah Selangor branches or visit www.hijrahselangor.com for more information.
