Air Selangor: Water supply in Gombak restored by 71 pct

SHAH ALAM, Sept 26 — Water supply has been restored to 71 per cent of the 41 affected areas in Gombak after a burst pipe incident along Jalan Ampang, as of 12 noon today.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said the water supply in 12 areas are still affected, with the recovery period differing from one area to another, depending on the location and distance of consumers’ premises.

Water supply in all affected areas is expected to fully recover by 10pm today.

Yesterday 41 areas in the Gombak region experienced unscheduled water supply disruptions following a burst pipe incident near the Ampang Point Flyover along Jalan Ampang.
